Time is so precious
How could it be anything
Other than wasted
Entropic arrow aims true
Twisting necks
We watch it pass
Then you whisper
You are my memento mori
My sighing reminder
A spectre spinning
My whirlpool mind
Grasps at strands fine
Drifting like gossamer
Lost forever
In the wastes of my mind
To wander listless
Paranormal pursuit of you
Just to rewind time
And then to pause:
A pause for thought
Make this moment
Permanently pure
Rewrite our story
Heartbeats resume
— In time
A collaboration between Em and myself. Please take a look at her site which features her innovative and inventive poetry poetgirlem.wordpress.com. It was an pleasure to work with her, and quite painless as well.
Nice poem: thanks for sending me to the other site, too. Quite an adventure.

No problem, glad you enjoyed. It was fun doing a collaboration, something I am not used to.

I note a hint of hesitation, I am sure that sometimes they can be a nightmare.

Of course this is wonderful. I missed Em posting this, somehow. Which is you and which is she, I wonder? Very seamless. Actually I can tell. But I won’t tell!

Oh I see in Em’s post…. I was off a little. So much for my intuition

I think it worked well, quite seamless as em commented. Shall we post the edited Proof tomorrow at some time?

It’s a compliment to have people not know or confuse the two authors! 🙂 Thanks, Meg!
